Seller Policy

This Seller Policy governs the terms and conditions for sellers, brands, and businesses listing and selling products on FQ FRAGRANCE, an online fragrance marketplace platform. By registering as a seller, you agree to comply with this policy, along with the platform’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy. FQ FRAGRANCE is currently operating in an initial launch phase with limited service availability. Seller participation and order fulfillment are subject to platform rules outlined below.

1. Nature of the Marketplace

FQ FRAGRANCE operates as a marketplace and technology platform. Sellers list their products on the platform, while FQ FRAGRANCE manages order processing, customer communication, and logistics as per the current operational model.

2. Seller Eligibility & Registration

Any individual, small business, or brand may apply to become a seller on FQ FRAGRANCE. Seller approval is subject to internal review and verification. At the time of registration, sellers must provide accurate and complete information, including:
  • Seller name / business name
  • Pickup and business address
  • Valid mobile number and email address
  • Bank account details for settlement
  • PAN card details
  • GST number (only if registered)

3. GST Requirements

GST registration is not mandatory for sellers whose annual turnover is below the threshold prescribed under Indian law. Small sellers without GST registration may sell on the platform as non-GST sellers. However, sellers with higher turnover or mandatory GST applicability must provide a valid GST number and comply with applicable tax laws.

4. Product Listing & Approval

All products listed by sellers are subject to review and approval by the FQ FRAGRANCE team. The platform reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove any product at its discretion. Sellers are solely responsible for product quality, legality, authenticity, and compliance with applicable laws.

5. Shipping Model (Platform-Managed Shipping)

During the initial phase, shipping is managed by FQ FRAGRANCE. Sellers are required to:
  • Properly pack products as per guidelines
  • Keep products ready for pickup
  • Provide accurate pickup address details
Courier partner selection, pickup scheduling, tracking, and delivery are handled by the platform.

6. Delivery Location & COD Availability

Currently, Cash on Delivery (COD) is available only within Kashipur, Uttarakhand. Orders placed outside Kashipur are processed as prepaid orders only. COD services are not available for other cities or states at this stage.

7. Shipping Charges & Free Shipping Rules

Shipping charges are determined based on delivery location and order quantity.
  • Kashipur Orders:
    • Free shipping is provided only when a customer orders two (2) or more products
    • If a customer orders only one product, shipping charges apply and are paid by the customer
  • Outside Kashipur:
    • No free shipping
    • Shipping charges are always paid by the customer

8. Order Processing & Dispatch

Once an order is confirmed, sellers must ensure timely readiness of products for pickup. Delays caused by seller unavailability or improper packing may result in penalties or temporary suspension.

9. COD Refusal & RTO (Return to Origin)

If a customer refuses to accept a COD order or is unavailable at the time of delivery, the order may be returned to origin (RTO). During the initial phase, RTO costs arising from COD refusal may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Repeated RTO incidents may lead to seller-specific restrictions or policy updates.

10. Seller Commission

FQ FRAGRANCE charges a commission of 15% on each successfully delivered order, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The commission is deducted before settlement to the seller.

11. Seller Settlement & Payments

Seller payouts are processed to the registered bank account after order delivery and completion of applicable return or cancellation windows. Settlement timelines may vary based on order type, payment method, and operational factors.

12. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Returns, refunds, and cancellations are governed by the platform’s Return & Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy. Sellers must cooperate in return pickups, inspections, and resolution processes.

13. Seller Conduct & Compliance

Sellers must maintain professional conduct, accurate listings, and ethical business practices. Misrepresentation, counterfeit products, or repeated customer complaints may result in suspension or termination.

14. Suspension & Termination

FQ FRAGRANCE reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for policy violations, misuse, or legal non-compliance without prior notice.

15. Policy Updates

This Seller Policy may be updated from time to time based on operational requirements. Continued participation in the marketplace constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Last updated: 2026
